Rachel Rogier has worked in the mining industry for over 14 years, beginning with Arch Coal in 2010. Rachel handles state and federal government affairs for Core Natural Resources, the nation’s 2nd largest coal producer, with eight mines in four states.  Rachel’s responsibilities include coordination and interaction in Washington, D.C. on behalf of Core with the United States Congress, federal agencies as well as domestic and international organizations seeking to impact public policy affecting coal production and use. She also oversees the government affairs for Core’s operations in Wyoming and Colorado, interacting with those state agencies and legislatures as well. Over her career in the mining industry, she has worked on issues concerning every part of the supply chain from permitting, public lands policy, transportation, infrastructure, to international trade issues.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts honors degree from the University of Toronto.
