About Women's Mining Coalition

Committed to our nation, our communities, our families and our livelihoods.

Mission

WMC’s mission is to advocate for today’s modern domestic mining industry which is essential to our Nation.

Message

A strong mining industry is vitally important to America. WMC members bring the message that U.S. jobs depend on mining and that today’s regulations and modern technology ensure state-of-the-art environmental protection at our country’s mines. WMC members provide policy makers with first-hand information about the technological advancements and environmental stewardship of today’s mining industry. We provide members of Congress, policy makers, and regulators with facts about the modern mining industry and the importance of mining to the U.S. economy and our daily lives. The Women’s Mining Coalition facilitates and provides the opportunity for our members to band together for a stronger voice with their Congressional delegation and with regulating agencies.
