Teresa Conner, Environmental Manager
Hollister Mine and Esmeralda Project
Teresa is the Environmental Manager at Hollister Mine and the Esmeralda Project. She is responsible for compliance, permitting, reclamation and closure for both properties. Teresa joined the company in June of 2009. She has more than 28 years of experience in both the mining and oil and gas industries, having worked for agencies such as the U.S. Geological Survey, the Minerals Management Service and the Bureau of Land Management. While working in government service she became very familiar with the development of rules and regulations and implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. She has worked for Valdez Creek Mining Company, Newmont Mining Corporation, Lafarge, Queenstake Resources, Converse Consultants, JBR Consultants, and as a private consultant. She has held numerous positions including: Reclamation Manager; Short Term, Long Range and Ore Control Engineer,;Project Engineer; and Environmental Manager. Teresa holds a B.S. degree in Mining and Geological Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology
